This skill allows one to attempt to block incoming attacks with
either a shield or a weapon. Since a shield is designed for this
purpose, it is the most efficient. One can attempt to block attacks
with one's hands, but it does not work very well.
While blocking incoming blows, one will find that dealing as many
hits is difficult, if not impossible.
