If the target is omitted, the caster will cast the darkness around himself. The more skilled one is, the darker it becomes. This spell can also be used to attempt to counter the effects of magical light prayer and spell like orb and light. Casting dark on anyone but the caster himself/herself will be considered a hostile action if the target's reaction is set to "ATTACK" (catch on). Dark can be cast with the argument 'dispell' if the caster wishes to remove all darkness they have covered themselves with.
