SHUTDOWN WARS

Periodicaly Tsunami will shut down for WAR! An announcement is
sent and players have three minutes to vote on the type of
war that they wish to have. Players then have 5 minutes to sell
their items and store their gear before the mud will shut
down and reboot in "war mode". The 'store' command is available
for a short amount of time while Tsunami reboots.
After shutdown, players can log in and vote on the style of war
they want, which currently is individual, leader, or team.
After five minutes of voting the war begins. Depending on the
type you and your team, or you by yourself will be transported
to a "prep room" in which you have one minute to prepare your
skills, songs, spells etc. You cannot buy anything until the
war starts.
You do not lose anything for dying in a war. In fact, you
can only gain some extra exp or gold even if you don't kill
anyone! Players who do more damage, get more kills, or
survive get the most points. All rewards are given when
the mud reboots.
All players on the MUD will also receive an EXP bonus based
on the number of kills in the last shutdown war. The 'Global
PVP Bonus' line in your 'bonus' command will show you how much
has been awarded.
