While transformed into a statue, the caster takes little if any damage. However, damage done to the caster tends to wear down the statue over time, eventually to the point that the caster takes more damage. Also, while transformed into a statue the caster cannot take any action other than dispelling their current statue form, and previous spell effects such as cloudkill will not affect enemies as the caster cannot expend concentration on them. --------------------------------------------------------------------- See also: help spell stoneskin, help spell transform
