--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prayer : Dark Echo Class : Paladin Cost : Free, Always On Requirement : Oath of the Dark Knight 1 A Dark Knight fractures his soul when he forswears divine justice for an oath to pursue justice of his own choosing. His movements are echoed by dark power which increases as he succumbs more and more to his dark oath. The echo is a reflection of the Dark Knight and so its power is a reflection of the Paladin's own statistics and a higher spell level strengthens the reflection effectively making it stronger. Dark Knight 1/The dark echo will appear automatically. It will typically echo one combat attack per round. Dark Knight 2/The dark echo will mimic the weaponskills of the Paladin (shield slam, fell cleave and plunge) with a weapon strike of its own. It will also slightly enhance the defensive component of shield slam. Dark Knight 3/The dark echo will mimic the Paladin's dark powers. It will now reflect the Paladin's penance prayer and dark strike skill. The reflection of penance is slightly more powerful than the reflection of dark strike. Dark Knight 4/The dark echo now has a chance to echo every combat strike the Paladin does with a strike of its own. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
