They transform into an avenging spirit which confers a number of effects. An Avenging Spirit must always wield their avenger. As an avenging spirit the holy or unholy power a paladin receives is normalized. While in this form a Paladin will slowly lose holy power. This loss will increase over time until the loss-per-round is so great that they will inevitably be unable hold (un)holy power and their increased damage will be reduced. Bonuses: All Oaths: - An Avenging Spirit is always flying. - An Avenging Spirit gains bonus judgement every round. - An Avenging Spirit's retribution can be cast as area of effect. - An Avenging Spirit's judgement does reduced damage as it can be cast more often. - When cast as area effect retribution does reduced damage. - Holy Power spenders always use the maximum amount of holy power which is unspent. Oath of Vengeance - An Avenging Spirit's vengeance aura does bonus damage. - An Avenging Spirit's vengeance aura can hit additional times per round. Oath of Defender - An Avenging Spirit will block or partially block attacks more often. Oath of the Dark Knight - Dark Strike can target as a room attack and does bonus damage. - Penance can target as aroom attack and does bonus damage. Oath of the Divine Champion - Divine Smite can target as a room attack and does bonus damage. - Exorcism can target as a room attack and does bonus damage. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
