With the return of Jack, reports of wild magics coalescing from the ley
lines across the mainland have flooded across the land. The once dorment
portal stones absorbed these stray energies, sparking to life in the
process. Adventurers visiting the town say the portal leads to an endless
series of mazes, each floor more daunting than the previous. At the end of
each floor sits a powerful boss guarding the path to the next floor.

Once a floor has been started, adventurers must clear all the way to the
boss and defeat said boss in order to advance to a higher floor. If you
leave before defeating the boss you will be unable to reenter the dungeon
for a short period of time. Newcomers at low levels will have to start
from the first floor, whereas more experienced dungeoneers will be able to
start at either one above the highest floor they've cleared, or up to four
floors under their current lvel. Clearing bosses at floor 30 or above
will grant accumulating points that will be used for powerful items as
they are discovered. The shop in Aincrad will also give better deals to
adventurers that have cleared further than others.
