I probably maybe hopefully resolved an issue (one I created, of course!)
wherein (under some circumstances) you'd get a message saying it was
dark/light but you could still see when you weren't actually being allowed
to see.

Note: this is separate from some issues with various skills that alter
rooms obscuring all or part of the room description. Please bug those as
you see them and I'll get to them as I'm able.
