We, collectively, decided that it's 2008 and people need some
defaults when setting up new characters. When you create a
new character now you will get some default aliases, colors, and
settings (no PK, no profanity, hunting, hp on, check on, etc).

If you already have those colors or aliases on your account, it
will not overwrite them. You can of course, turn off any of
those settings after set and it suggests that to you if you are
so inclined and are an advanced user.
