I have increased the effective steal range to 6 levels lower,
from 3.

Also, there was a minor bug in thief code where they were supposed
to get increased intim resistance each level (but a typo ruined
that). I think, however, that it makes more sense to get better
resistance to intimidate if you're prepared for the target, so
I've recoded it that way.
