I'm afraid someone discovered recently an interesting side effect
of our money/value changes in monsters - if you give a monster
a shitload of coins to cheese-transfer money between characters,
you may find you do not get the return on investment you were
hoping for.

This money will NOT be reimbursed, so I recommend finding another
method.
