Title : Beware of Constrictors
----------------------------------------
Hello, back in the olden days constrict was supposed to be a method for
dealing with creatures you could not swallow. However -- pretty much
universally the feedback Ive gotten is that constrict is not even worth
thinking about.

I looked at the skill and did some testing and *folks were right* it
almost never lasted more than 2 or 3 rounds vs equal level NPCs. Also when
you are constricting you dont get combat rounds (but your foe does).
Supposedly constrict was supposed to stop casting but because of the skill
values it wuld do this maybe 5%-10% of the time and when you’ve only
got someone tied up for 2 or 3 rounds ... well, so much for that strategy.

Okay, so ahead of more worm stuff I made some changes so that it can be
used on things too big to swallow.:

1. Constrict should now on-average last considerably longer.

2. Constrict should now do moderate damage each round (as opposed to
almost none).

3. I know a lot of people get concerned about REALISM but were going to
go against nature here -- on Tsunami the longer you are constricted the
greater the chance you’ll break free and on-average the less damage
you’ll do due to your foe’s resistance.

4. While constricted your attacking decreases more than previously.

5. While constricted your ability to use skills and spells is much harder
than before.

This is subject to further tuning but a word of warning: Watch out for
those Klydiss remhorazes.
