Title : Wu-jen

The new wu-jen shadow is live!

Q: What exactly did you do?
A: about 95% of the original shadow is completely new code. Although
it looks and feels pretty much the same for a player it is infact
completely new class behind the scenes.

Q: The wu-jen sphere/spell room is gone?!
A: Yeah, I baked it into the shadow. You can now learn spells and
spheres wherever you are.

Q: Why don't 'help spheres' and 'spheres' command work.

A: It's replaced by 'wulist' which all wu-jens can use at any time.
I like the appearance of the spheres command so I might put it
back again ust for variation of appearance. Need a slight recode
though.

Q: Why is my spells removed when I login?
A: Everytime you login a check is made to make sure all wu-jen stats is
correct. If there is an error (like you lost Pneumatos) ALL spells
is removed and you can learn them again.

Q: I had 2 pt in earth, now I only have 1.
A: If the login check finds out you have too many spherepoints it will
automatically remove
excess points starting with the lowest sphere
first. Most likely this won't happen now but future changes could
trigger this.

Q: Is this a buff or nerf?
A: Depends on who you ask. My intention wasn't to boost or nerf wu-jen
but instead optimize the code. I have changed formulas some to help
newbie wu-jen. Make the class slightly less complicated and give
incentive to go both max in a sphere or spread out and become jack-
of-all-trades. You either specialize or go for utility.

Q:You destroyed my sphere setup/build/spell etc!
A: Sorry for that. You get to use the greater polymorph room for free
one time though.

Q: Can you fix so we can play lowbie wu-jens in twars?
A: I havn't tried it but it should work in theory now. The code will
automatically add spells/sphere points based on your new level and
you don't have to buy shit in the mage guild anymore. You just
need a huge macro to learn all spells just before the war starts.

Q: <insert spell> sucks, why didn't you fix it?
A: It requires quite a project to through all spells also and I wanted
to make sure I finished this one first before I jump into something
else. I won't make any promises but I'm quite aware we need to look
at individual spells and see how well they perform.

Q: Why don't you add something unique instead of the same spells for
all spheres at rank 6 and 7.
A: That would be cool. One of the reasons I rewrote the shadow wa
make it easier for future changes. If a wizards wants to put in
more stuff and even re-arrange spells in a sphere it's a piece of
cake.

Q: That new offhand metaskill. Can you dual wield mageweapons?
A: Yeah, that's the general idea. I could have coded up something
completely different but I thought it would be a cool idea to
run around with two flameblades or whatever. Right I changed
the code so you can now have two mageweapons in your inventory.

Q: Doesn't makeweapons suck?
A: Yeah, they did. That's why I doubled their effectiveness. My aim
is for metaskill wu-jens to end up with 75-90% of a specialized
wu-jens damage. You make up for it in utility. If they have more
I will reduce. I they have clearly less I will boost.

Q: Is the extra cost for having points in more than one tree gone?
A: Yeah.

Q: Why isn't that information in the help file?
A: I didn't want the help file to have a bunch of legac information.

Q: 12800 questpoints?! Is there even that many quests in the game?
A: Nope. It's only there so we don't have to modify the code in the
future incase that happens.

Q: 'check' color doesn't work.
A: Yeah... I havn't tracked down that bug yet *blush*. Be patient. :)
