OK, after some weekend fun, a lot of the
isncribe glitches should be repaired.
Last major one re: permanence, now perm actually
checks inscribe instead of automagically succeeding every time.
Also inscribe defense is much less efficient than enchant, more
difficult to perm, but still useable so its a choice
to really max defense or to enchant the equipment
for defense and use the inscribe slot for another
inscription
