Has been removed for now.

Currently we have approximately 15 bugs related to possess, all
of which are of reasonable severity, none of which have an
easy or obvious fix that we could consider less of a bug risk than
the existing non-solution. With about 250+ other unresolved
bugs to deal with, after almost 3 weeks of trying to resolve
the possess bugs I'm going to have to call it quits - for now.
