Title : Sylphs revisited.
After examining the help file for suffocate, I have decided to
revoke the change making suffocate do 1/2 damage to undead.
The help file definitely states that this has to do with vaccuum
decompression, but the damage messages seem to imply a lack
of oxygen for breathing (i.e. "Blah's eyes bug out of his head
as he gasps for air.")
While this was intended as a thematic change, it also served
the purpose of a slight reduction to sylphs because suffocate
was doing 90% blast damage, ignoring AC, and able to hit people
out of room. I have removed the 1/2 damage to undead, but
suffocte now does less damage to those targets who are not
directly in the room with you. You may thank Navigator and
the other sylphs who pitched a fit over a minor reduction
for making this larger reduction possible. :)
