This skill represents the ability for an adventurer to recuperate and
face their next challenge. The effectiveness of the rest depends
completely on the level of the entity who is resting and increases
over time.

Active use: You can actively rest your tired bones to increase your
healing rate when you are not in combat and the realm is not at war. 

Actively resting can leave an adventurer extremely tired and groggy.
This leads to penalties to combat, awareness, and resistance even
after choosing to stop the healing.  These penalties decrease and
disappear over time.

Active rest automatically stops once a player is fully recovered
unless their class gains secondary rest benefits in which case it
might continue.  

In addition, one can 'stand' up to prematurely end the rest.

You can type "stand" to stop resting at any time.

Some subclasses have specialized means of recovery such as hypermetabolism,
gravemeld, or graze.
