i made some changes to the generic weapon code that in the long run
will help us keep the mud in working condition. unfortunately. these
changes have the potential to break some weapons around the mud
that rely on crappy coding techniques - mostly weapons in really
old areas (i hope).
if you run across some weapons that fail to load or that freak out,
be sure to 'bug' them for me.
this'll probably happen w/ armour too fairly soon.
