This prayer will be granted to the Paladin when Everen, the Goddess of Light, find the Paladin ready. The holy protector is a shield blessed by the goddess to protect the Paladin in battle.
The goddess might revoke the shield if the Paladin cannot maintain a good standing with his or her goddess.
