GLANCE Glance is the brief version of look. It performs a quick glance around the room you are in. Showing the room's short description, obvious exits, and any objects or monsters in it. It differs from look, in that you do not see the room's long description. When you are in brief mode, you automatically do a glance whenever you enter a room. The glance command only works when in 'Brief mode'. Type 'help brief' for more info. See also: look, text, brief
