Aurumvorax Growth
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

BASICS:
An Aurumvorax NEEDS to consume gold to have any chance of
surviving in the harsh reality that is Tsunami.  The
consumption of gold has the immediate effect of healing
the Aurumvorax, but its long term effects are what are
most important.  An Aurumvorax can view its current consumed
status by typing 'consumed'.  Aurumvorae CANNOT GIVE NOR DROP
GOLD, it's their lifeblood.  This is not to say that they never 
spend gold, as their primal instinct will make the beasts do 
whatever is required of them in order to survive.  Nonetheless,
spending one's food is not usually a sound plan.

GROWTH:
Just as an Aurumvorax gains levels by gaining experience,
so does it grow in prowess (and weight) by consuming gold.
Each player level the Aurumvorax has obtained allows for 
the potential achievement of one growth stage.  For example,
a level 4 Aurumvorax could potentially achieve growth stage
4.  For now, the maximum growth stage is level 32.  The
growth process follows this pattern...

1.  The beast uses the consume skill to ingest gold.

2.  The gold is immediately digested and absorption slowly
    begins to take place OR if 'do consume store' was
    used in any manner, the growth-granting gold ions are
    still immediately digested, while the regenerative ions
    are stored until needed.

3.  Once 100 percent absorption is reached, a new growth stage
    is achieved, and the beast's body will randomly improve
    one attribute (read below).

OVER-EATING:
Marisil has removed over-eating.  Any gold that could not be 
used for growth used to be wasted unless it healed the beast,
increased the vein bonus, or was added to the beast's reserves
for later healing.  Rather than the gold being wasted, it is 
added to the beast by being utilized to increase the 
Aurumvorax's bone density (thus, no new growth occurs).  This 
results in a weight increase, and will affect certain skills
('help skills consume' has an explanation).

ATTRIBUTES:
There are 4 attributes that are improved by reaching new
growth stages.  Each attribute has 8 levels of development,
ranging from Newborn Aurumvorax to Grand Elder Aurumvorax.  The
attributes themselves are...

Weaponry - The Aurumvorax's teeth and claws.  Their current
           development level directly determines the 
           Aurumvorax's weaponry skill level.

    Hide - Obviously, the beast's dense, gold fur coat.  Its
           current development significantly affects the
           Aurumvorax's armor class.

  Senses - Once again, obviously, the beast's means for detecting
           prey and foes.  Their development level affects
           awareness, and gives a small bonus to the beast's
           ability to locate gold veins ('help skills dig').

 Healing - The strength of the Aurumvorax's regenerative system.
           Its level directly affects the beast's healing rate
           and the healing it receives from corpses.  Also, it
           is a factor in how well the beast heals from consumed
           gold.

Weaponry will always improve first when the choice is between all
four attributes.  The reason for this lies in that the beast's
genetic encoding is extremely biased towards survival through
engaging in combat.

NOTES:
The growth stage starts at level 0 regardless of what level
you started at as an Aurumvorax.  Reincarnating will thus
require you to take extra time to consume the necessary
gold needed to achieve all the growth stages up to, and
including, your current player level.
